Churches in the Meern
The Protestant churches in de Meern (near Utrecht) and surroundings organized the first half of the year 2006 all kinds of activities under the name ‘ Together we help Njokuti ‘. Starting on the evening of april 21st Robert-Jan de Gardeyn, secretary of the board of Njokuti Foundation, was invited to tell the attendees, more than 100 people, about the work of Njokuti.
With a highly esteemed slideshow (with beamer) the interested public was informed about what Njokuti Foundation was doing now and hopefully in the future much more. The evening was organized by Nico Kriekaard and Lisette Kasius who, with their enthusiasm and a excellent African meal afterwards made it a very successful start of their action.
